Two Soups for Me

Posted by: Amanda on: November 10, 2008

Well, my mom and I managed to sneak out of our book club at a somewhat reasonable hour tonight, which was an improvement over last week. We did hear more tonight about this family’s trip to England next fall, and their hopes of our coming. They’re really serious about it. :-)

For lunch today I had TJ’s vegan split pea soup with Kashi crackers and a pickle.

My afternoon snack was a bowl of GoLean with almond milk. I really like the sweet taste and crunch of this cereal.

For dinner we had something new tonight. My mom found a recipe for vegetable chili online, and it came out quite tasty. I also had some apple slices (plus more not pictured). Two soups for me in one day, but oh well. It was cold and windy out, so it was appropriate.

After book club I snacked on a Kardea nutrition bar: Chai Spice flavored. YUM!! This bar had a subtle taste of spices and a nice crisp chew to it. Another winner!

It’s about time for me to hit the sack. G’night!
